I recently stayed at Old Stables in Sussex for a weekend getaway. Alison, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the converted stone building had a charming rustic feel. The highlight was the sunlit and spacious kitchen dining room, perfect for enjoying meals. I also loved having a patio area to relax and the beautiful outlook over the owner's garden. The beds were extremely comfortable, with spotless linen, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for taking a wonderful walk right from the property. it was a lovely stay and I can't wait to come back.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely kitchen with a view onto the garden. Ample parking available. The gated entrance gave us a sense of security, so we could leave our cycles outside without worrying.
Very poor internet and mobile phone signal. We assumed that being close to Gatwick Airport, we would have excellent connectivity.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely converted stone building in Sussex. The highlight was definitely the spacious and sunlit kitchen dining room, perfect for enjoying meals together. The patio area was also a great spot to relax. We felt secure with the gated entrance and ample parking. The warm welcome from the friendly owner made us feel right at home. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom super clean. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the owner's garden and even spotted horses in the distance. Despite some minor cleanliness issues and limited WiFi, we found the space to be enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

The cottage was nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen and the lovely view of the garden. The ample parking and gated entrance made us feel secure during our stay.
The mobile coverage was limited and the WiFi was unreliable, especially in the evenings. The cleaning of the cottage could have been better.
